Troubles With Colic, Ear Infections or Asthma?

Did you know that colic can come from the birthing process? When the baby is pulled from Mom, the alignment of the baby’s upper spine is disturbed. These nerves go right to the stomach, inner ear and lungs. That’s why we see so many kids with colic, asthma and ear infections in the first years of life.

Unfortunately, we’re taught that these conditions are normal. They are not! A misalignment in the spine disrupts the way the brain talks to the body. The quicker that’s corrected, the less trouble you’ll have with your infant or child.

Your child will have an examination just like an adult would. It’s quicker, however, and doesn’t involve having X-rays taken. The process is more about chatting with you about your child’s history and your current concerns. We’ll ask them if they’re ready to be checked. After, they’ll be sent home with a lollipop or sticker. If they’re not ready, we’ll wait until they are.

What if my child is nervous?

We’ll be ready to get on their level and play with them. Children learn through play, which is why we have toys in every room. There’s a turtle tank here that kids love to see. Plus, there are usually other kids around, which quickly puts newcomers at ease.

How will my child respond after an adjustment?

After the first adjustment, your child will usually sleep through the night. They’ll probably also poop-sometimes before you can even leave the adjusting room! Often, infants want to nurse as soon as they’re done. That’s fine-we’ll close the door to the room and leave you in privacy for as long as you need. You are never rushed here.

Can you help my child?

If your child’s problem is due to a misalignment that’s putting pressure on the nerve, we can remove that pressure. We’ll only know if we can help if you schedule an appointment and let us evaluate your child.

How often will you need to see my child?

The frequency of visits will depend on your child’s problem. We want to reduce that frequency down as soon as they start to feel better, though, so you don’t need to worry about having any unnecessary visits recommended to you.
