Meet Dr. Cooper Sciascia
My chiropractic journey began at birth—I was checked for nerve interference within my first few minutes of life by my parents, both chiropractors. Growing up with weekly adjustments, I experienced what optimal nervous system function can do. While friends struggled with allergies, asthma, and frequent illnesses, I rarely got sick and never needed antibiotics.
Discovering The Truth Of What Chiropractic Care Really Is
In high school, working in a chiropractor’s office opened my eyes to what chiropractic was truly about. I learned that the spine protects the spinal cord, and when vertebrae misalign, they can create pressure on the nerves exiting between them. These nerves control every function in your body, from your immune system to digestion and beyond. Chiropractic adjustments specifically address these misalignments, removing interference and allowing your nervous system to communicate properly with all parts of your body.
What fascinated me most was witnessing the difference between symptom-focused approaches and the whole-body transformation that comes with this nervous system optimization. Patients experienced improvements in areas they hadn’t even mentioned—headaches disappearing, digestion improving, mood elevating—all from adjustments focused on restoring proper nerve communication. This confirmed that helping others achieve this higher quality of life was my calling.
My Journey To Becoming a Chiropractor
At San Jose State University, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology while competing on the Judo team. As a two-time All-American who placed second in nationals and earned my third-degree black belt, I trained intensely six days a week. While teammates relied on pain medications or took breaks due to injuries, chiropractic care kept me performing at my highest level—completely pain-free.
After graduating in 2018, I continued at Life University in Marietta, Georgia—the same alma mater as Dr. Carol! I graduated in 2021 with Summa Cum Laude honors, excited to join the Lifeline Chiropractic family and help your family experience the amazing benefits of a properly functioning nervous system.
I believe your body has an incredible ability to heal when given the proper support. I’m here to help you achieve a higher quality of life through optimal nervous system function!
